speedo and tach and other things not working

today my tach speedometer and shift lights on the dash along with the ones that light up when a door is open or trunk just quit working. is there a fuse that works these lights? I don't know if anyone actually visits this forum anymore because I have yet to receive one answer to any question I have asked about any problem I have had but figured I would try and see if anyone knows what could be causing this if anyone happens to stumble on this question on line

Well 1st you need to search for your other problem. Many new ppl join daily and ask ?'s that have been gone over many many times. SO search first if you dont find it then ask. To many new threads are created when the answer is easily found. And yes there are many of us on here active in my experience this is the most active acura forum(again thats my opinion). Common sense will take you far my friend. Yes there are fuses that work those you could have found this out by looking into your manual or by checking the fuse boxes one at the hood pop and one under the hood. But to me sounds like maybe a wire is shorted.

I answered your other post about oem remotes. I have two for you.
Give us a day or two to look over your posts before you give up on us.
As on1wheel01 said search first and then we shall help if we can.

I took the dash apart and found the problem, there is a burnt trace on the board. I guess I need to replace that but just hope what ever burnt this one out doesn't burn out the new one

I would check all the fuses. If the fuses are ok, than you can check the bulbs.

I did search about every question I have asked but didn't find any direct answers. I did find the answers on the web on the remote thing (it was for a RL instead a CL) and I found a part that would work at the local paint part supply store to fix the door handle bushing but never saw this particular problem. I did see people saying their speedo quit and there was some type of resistor that is prone to burn out but nothing about all gauges and lights stopping working like mine and that is why I asked. I am a moderator of another forum (not car related) and always try to find the answer before I ever ask, sometimes the answer may be hidden in a thread I would have never thought it would be in and miss it but I do try and find it myself

yeah that was the first thing I looked for, didn't really see anything that was for gauges specifically and that was what had me confused. I just knew it had to be a fuse since everything quit but when I took it apart I found the burnt trace Now I guess i need to find a place to order the circuit board so I can replace it to fix it

I think I have seen your ad on craigslist in Charlotte. I tried to email you at the address of your name here at aol.com just as you said in the ad and it kept coming back to me saying it was undeliverable. I live in Bessemer City so if this is you we are close

I tried to pm you as well but either I do not have permission to do so yet (since I am still a new member) or I just don't know how to do so. I think my email did go through this time though from the email address you had posted on craigslist

Did you ever find a solution to your dash lights problem? I've got the same issue. I see several posts with similar problem, but no specific solutions.

It's not clear from the manual which fuse is used by the speedometer, and the ones I've guessed at and checked have all been fine.
