Seaform 2.3...
I've search the forum but i seem to find the DIY for the 2.3 CL. I know the basis of it is the same but where is the vacuum line to suck the seaform for the 2.3?
Sorry if its a re-post but like I said, I search to no avail...

We do have a diy, it's for a 3.0 but it's pretty much the same thing

either way would work, ive always just sucked it through the PCV valve itself since the hose is such a pain to get off

i put 1/3 thru pcv, 1/3 into crank case and 1/3 into gas tank.

Yesterday I poured it into the PCV line and air intake (after removing the filter assembly). Half the can also went in the gas tank at my last fill up. This time I observed that the liquid sits by the EGR valve waiting to be drawn through the system when you drive it hard, hence the smoke while driving. I don't think you have to use the whole can even.

Ok... Just completed the Seafoam (1/3 in intake, 1/3 in crankcase & 1/3 in tank), she appears to idles smoother. Man it seemed as if a cloud from the heavens descended upon my CL!

where is....
haha, seafoaming is fun, especially flooring it and leaving a huge cloud behind........but make sure you do this infront of your house or something.......don't need to be james bond and blind everyone else

i'm still debating if i should do this. as bad as engine gunk is, it keeps ur seals together. I already had an oil leak on my h22, i dont need another.

I dunno about the H motors but I seafoamed my F22 at around 130k for the first time and nothing broke or leaked, ive still got some consumption, but that was always there....... stupid lead-footed redline addiction
but ive started to use Motul EngineClean to clean it out every other oil change, and it works great, im sure my fuel system is in need of a good cleaning though

i only have 81K on my h22, but its 13 years old. i dunno if i should fuck with it or just leave it. if this is gonna help my gas milage, i'll consider it

I don't put Seafoam or even STP engine flush in the oil for that reason... just the intake
Overfilling with Mobil 1 last fall caused the worst leak I've had (the rear main), but after Seafoaming for the second time and filling with the Valvoline Synthetic Max Life 10W30 I don't see a drop underneath anymore. Go figure.
