RPM moves up and down when letting go of gas.

Ok, when I am driving my RPM looks fine. When I let go of the gas it starts dropping down and when it hits 1K itll jump up to about 1.2 or 1.3K and then drop to normal idle. What is causing this?

maybe vacum leak?

But it doesnt drop down below average idle?

Not really, you could try cleaning it, but this is 9 out of 10 times what it is

mine has always done this...never knew what it was but didnt really care bc it doesnt really bother me....maybe ill clean mine this weekend

theres 2 bolts to get it off...and i think a few hoses...all very accessible

if your still wondering about this problem...i just cleaned my IACV and no more bounce after i let off the throttle

nah...not for me atleast...i know because i cleaned the hell outa my egr system and seafoamed about 5000 miles ago and it behaved the same even after that. the IACV cleaning cleared it right up
