replaced the sway bar bushings and front end link bushings!
I replaced them w/ Energy Suspension products. Handling is significantly better. I didn't expect it to stiffen up the front end as much. Stiffened it up so much that I don't rub up front anymore. I expected a little more understeer but I didn't get it. THe car turns in alot nicer now.
All for a cost of about 40$!

Replacing the sway bar bushings and end links makes ur car more responsive and sharper turn ins, The ride won't be stiff, no squeks (unless it came with the grease then u have to put them on), and less bounce compared to stock rubbers. Just remember, poly u r harder than rubber ones. Also, a comlpete suspension kit can be installed.

here are the part #'s:
sway bar bushings: 9.5129
Front end-links: 16.8105
I did the install myself and it was very very easy (then again I use air tools )
The ride isn't exactly stiffer but it's more precise, steering response is unbelievable. There is very little sway now from the front and the car just turns in great.
I wouldn't recommend doing the complete master bushing set. I've done it on a few friends cars and they become way to stiff for daily driving. But I would recommend maybe doing the front control arm set as well if you plan on autocrossing or such.

Not hard at all really. As hard as it'd be to install sway bars. Let's put it this way. If you've never tackled any serious work on a car, this will be the easiest next to installing a CAI. If you have done work, it's a no brainer. The only real hard part was getting the end links on. I had to have someone w/ a crow bar or similiar tool put some pressure on it so I could slip the end links in.
It's a very easy job, and if you want to learn to do your own work, this should be the first one for you.

how much did each of these cost, where would i buy these from? If I don't want a tremendously stiff ride, what would i get? I just want the car to handle better, but still use it as a daily driver?

The car doesn't ride much stiffer. You just feel that the roll is gone through turns. This would be a perfect addition for you.

I got my bushings today. I am going to install tomorrow after I put on 215/55 Kuhmo Ecsta MXs. I can't wait to feel the differance from the original Michlins and old bushings. Got a great deal on the bushings. $26 including TAX.
