Removing Badges

I was recently removing the snow from my 3.0 CL last week with a broom and accidently broke off the "L" on the 3.0 CL badge. I remember seeing a post on here several months ago about removing the badges with a hair dryer and dental floss. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I just want to remove the "ACURA" and "3.0 CL" badge, but not the Acura emblem. Does anyone have any pictures with the badges removed from the truck lid?

You are headed in the right direction...to remove the badges, you first heat them up with a hairdryer or something, then I used dental floss and ran it behind the badges. They're held on by like a rubber cement kind of material. Remove the excess "goob" with something like goob gone and then give that area a lil wax to revive the paint.
