get a higher amperage alternator and an alpine head unit.

beef up your speakers... that'd be a nice start

for your radio code, you're gonna have to take out your radio, get the serial number on the back and take it to Honda/Acura, wait 5 mins and you'll get ur code...

Um, when he changes out the alternator.... He will have to unhook the battery.

how sure are u if it's even the alternator? If something was wrong with ur alternator, you would hear scratching noises from it... then in a few days... or even hours of driving... ur CEL (check engine light) will come on... and your car will die. Are u sure u needed to change ur alternator?

Well guess what happened to me last night... i was driving home, lights dimmed, car lost lots of power, drove about 3 mph home. SRS light came on, check engine came on, just made it home and then my car is dead. What do u think it could be? Alternator?

How many people had alternator problems in their cl? Any advice? I called autozone and it cost about 275! I ordered one online for 135. I know its not the best but its cheaper. How hard is the install?

The light is not "low battery" its actually the light for the charging system. If it's on, your car is running solely on the power from the battery - your time is limited.

You DO NOT need to adjust your timing after you change your altenator.

I think you should, because it's suppose to be set at a certain level. When i put mine in... i think it was at 14.. when itwas suppose to be at 16... but no biggie. Just make sure u try to match it up with ur old one. Its only like $15 to check the timing.. so i think it's well worth it.
