Possible tranny swap
So I posted the same thread on Honda-Tech hoping to get some additional feedback, and I know there are numerous threads about swapping tranny's from one CL to another, but would a 5 spd auto from a 7th gen accord (both 4 cyl/v6) work on our cars. Both CL and accord run the J30 so it should mount right up in theory right???

Well the knowledge that i know from here. The problem with the 98-02 accord manual trannies don't mount correctly as they are on the opposite side. I would think it would be the same with the auto trannies.

Any idea as to how far off the mounts would be, nothing to exact just an estimate

I would guess a 5speed auto from a 2nd gen cl/tl would be a closer fit but I'm guessing
