obx-r muffler?

Hey guys, anybody using the obx mufflers? I did a search and got mixed reviews on the sound quality. There is a shop here in k-ville going out of business(damn economy). They have a few of these mufflers for sale for 50 bucks. I know you get what you pay for, but this seems like a decent price

The OBX mufflers are full stainless in and out, have a non-louvered perforated core, and all are packed with stainless wool and some have stainless wool packing surrounding the core with additional ceramic packing out side of that. Pretty much ANY straight through muffler will make the same power as a straight pipe given there’s no necking down or louvers. It’s just a matter of material construction and sound absorption. Your dyno will never feel the difference between one straight through muffler from another, but you'll hear a difference.
