NSX 5spd tranny into 97 3.0 and maybe NSX head and ECU

anyone hear of a nsx 5spd tranny goin into an auto (duh) 3.0CL the block off the two cars is the same, if i put in an nsx computer, drop a clutch pedal in and make shift linkage...no problems, right? also, what if i switched out heads and ported my stock manifolds to line up? is that doeable? I NEED MORE POWER!!!
97 3.0 CL
2.5" piping and muffler
intake
100shot NOS
soon to add V-AFC and level 10 torque converter

no they're not the same block. i have researched this already, no tranny is going to fit out car unless they make a 5 speed for the accords. the nsx engine is a c30a1, the cl is a j30a1. i like the way you think though! just like me!

Sounds like an expensive venture. Good luck. By the time your done, you probably could have bought an NSX.

You are very correct. The NSX uses a C block, same as the C27A1 in my Legend. That engine is in no way related to the J block motor, which is used in the TL/CL/Accord/Odyssey/MDX(?). The C block is a 90 degree vee, while the J is 60 degrees.

If it's not a 90 degree block, it's not a C block. I'm positive it is not, and maybe the J looks like a C?

Please put on some pants before you go outside.

yea it is actually cold in Texas now at least for this week. Its the cold front. Its cold at night here in Houston. Anyways i know that the NSX and the CL is not the same block like evryone says. O well.....sorry to hear that. If it was then i think almost everyone with a 3.0 will consider that. Anyways its nice to see another fellow Texan in the forum. Im just waiting for another Houstonian. There are not many here.
I guess to make ur car faster there is always building the internals and spaying the hell out of your car with NOS!!!!
that will make your car a lot faster. YOu'll be screamin'
