Newbie here...
Um, I don't know if it's okay to introduce myself in here or not, but I figured it's probably better to do it here than ramblings...
I've been a lurker for a while, but I just joined today.
I have a 99 3.0, black, no mods, no pics (no digicam). Sorry; I'm just interested in YOU guys.

sup! mostly everyone ont his forum is friendly, learn lots of things about your CL. I definitely have learned a lot from these guys, esp that Rick guy "dustbuster4"...he's a machine. Knows like every atom of the car

Welcome to the ACL Community 
you can find used parts for your car on our Black Market thread
When looking for parts you can also find exact parts from the Honda Accord V6 98-02, it is better to search for parts for the accord, since they will work with the CL its just that they never recognize that they will work and wont spend the extra money to get a carb exempt for it only for one car.
But if you buy parts for the accord youll be safe, parts you can buy for your CL:
intake, headers, exhaust, plugs, NOS, CF hood, VAFC, suspension
if you want to see a 3.0 with lots of mods, check out Dustbuster4, he is primo when it comes to the 3.0 CL

I don't know why I've never modded my car... I've had it forever. I guess I just kind of feel like it's not worth it to start now when I'll probably be getting a newer car in a year or so anyway.
Then again, this one is now paid off. I don't quite relish the thought of having a new car payment yet. I suppose modding the CL is a less expensive way to have a "new" car.
So... is it worth it? Do you guys find a lot more enjoyment in your car once it's modified?

I have another question, also... is there a do/don't rule list for this board? Obviously, I shouldn't ask questions until I check the search function (I'm a veteran of other boards, so I know the BASICS), but... anyone I should make a point to NOT piss off or anything?

The problem with wheels is that the only ones I like are way out of my price range.
Actually, that's really the problem with all of the mods, which is probably why I haven't done anything. There's always something else I want to spend my money on.
I don't want to buy Konig or something like that. I want three-piece forged rims, and they're hard to come by in a decent price range. I suppose I could always pick some up used.

omg I didn't mean to make give a low shot... I just have had friends who've had Konigs and they always break, or bend, or otherwise lose their usefulness, and then their investment has gone to shit.
