New alternator, same symptom?
It seemed like for a few weeks or so my car was taking a little longer to start, kind of like it was struggling.
I noticed when it started happening, but I figured it wasn't a big deal.
Then one day my radio shut off and all my lights were really dim, and my wipers stopped working while it was raining.
So, I checked my battery and it was fine, so I figured it was the alternator.
I took it to a shop and they said that it was the alternator, and I got it replaced.
My car still feels like it's taking too long to start up.. just like it was acting before everything died on me.
My front blinkers are both burnt out, and I installed a new (old) head unit fairly recently.
I have all aftermarket bulbs except my highbeams (which I never use)
Would any of those have any affect on my alternator?
I'm afraid I just bought a new alternator and the root of the problem hasn't been found.
Basically, I don't want to have to get a new alternator again.
Am I just imagining things, or could something be messing with my alternator?

I had problem where the alternator wasn't charging the battery so I went to get a new alternator but the new alternator had the same problem. So they put another one in and then that one was also busted so the shop ordered another alternator from another location and that one ended up solving the problem. So I had to get three new alternators before I found one that works. You maybe be having the same problem.

most alternators are rebuilt so...
So get another one if that one does not solve the problem check your interior lights ie. glove box, trunk light, door panel lights...just to be safe.
