No? I thought rainbow wires in your engine bay was all the rage nowadays. Guess i should do something about that then.

SupraManAG 06-26-2008 04:55 PM

i like you harness. im assebling the engine together this sunday. all day all night till its done.
i should have her fired up by next weekend

did the IM clear the firewall ok?
lemme know if you want my prelude drivers side mount. wont be needing mine. that f23 mount dont work too well

DaInFaMMuS1 06-26-2008 05:37 PM

IM barely fit. BARELY. Gotta actually tilt the engine forward a bit, cuz its tapping the brake booster. How much for the mount? My mechanic was saying something bout strengthening the mounts too after he drove it for the 1st time. Is there anything we can do for the front and rear mounts?

732xghost 06-26-2008 06:09 PM

innovative mounts make all 3 mounts for the 94-97 Accord.

DaInFaMMuS1 06-26-2008 07:42 PM

thatll probably have to be my next mod after the new ECU. it was actually running on the F23 motor to get it started to check if it would run. God this is expensive.

starboy2nv 06-27-2008 01:30 PM

hmmmmmmmmmmmm love me some wires boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

:fluffy:

DaInFaMMuS1 06-27-2008 01:31 PM

lol not from what your engine bay is gonna look like, which would be the complete opposite of what mine currently looks like lol.

starboy2nv 06-27-2008 01:45 PM

well tomorrow im picking up motor, dropping off kit. then pray the wheels come faster then what they already are lol

yes poly inserts. i got me. $30 a piece. The prelude mount. Free. Just come by with your car when i plug all the connectors together to make sure i dont miss anything. Im getting this bitch fired up. Call me man.

Cocoa 06-27-2008 04:42 PM

You can also buy polyurethane silicone at Home Depot and fill in your mounts. That's what I did with my side mount.

It depends on the shape/design of the mount whether you can just fill it in or not.

Also Arber where did you get the poly inserts? Im debating whether to go with that or just get the innovative mounts. The Innovative mounts are kinda expensive though.

Also i highly recommend the Forbidden Motorsports short shifter. Has 3 different settings, mine is on the tightest one (race setting). Its amazing, flick of the wrist shifting lol. 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th are like flicking an automatic from D4 to D3 lol.

starboy2nv 06-28-2008 02:59 PM

i dont see any mounts for us on there site... or is it just me..

DaInFaMMuS1 06-28-2008 04:20 PM

theyre there for the 94-97 accord H22 swap

SupraManAG 06-28-2008 09:18 PM

they sell non brand mounts on ebay. the poly inserts are there as well. the front insert is made by energy and the rear is made from someone else. the rear might be tought to find but i got em both

starboy2nv 06-29-2008 02:10 AM

hasport ftw

SupraManAG 06-29-2008 09:29 PM

too expensive if they even made a complete set of us.
my engine is halfway done ;)

DaInFaMMuS1 07-01-2008 12:40 PM

i decided im gonna end up getting all innovative motor mounts. not too bad for the money.

732xghost 07-01-2008 04:02 PM

good choice i wish i did the same.

i though you loved your hasport. something about that haport mount has me drooling. the innovative is black. me no likey

732xghost 07-01-2008 07:20 PM

eh innovative mounts are more of an obscure company. im more into those companies. sometimes they end up being the best.

DaInFaMMuS1 07-01-2008 07:39 PM

 we think alike

starboy2nv 07-02-2008 02:27 AM

but hasport looks alot more stronger and durable...post some pics of the innovative one.

yea arber your rite, they only make the "swap" mount not the rest... that sucks...

DaInFaMMuS1 07-02-2008 03:26 AM

I read some reviews on them, they were pretty favorable.

Kumar you just worry bout hookin me up with that bracket bro, i'm still waiting! lol.

DaInFaMMuS1 07-02-2008 10:54 PM

Update: So i was helping my mechanic work some things out at the shop, and we managed to go through 4 KNOCK SENSORS :ugh: ! Damn things kept breaking when we were trying to put em on! I do love my engine bay though, its so beautiful . This is how the CL should have came stock! I was rollin' around Cali style with no hood on, just letting the engine show haha  .

KUUUMMMAARRRR i need that damn power steering bracket! Its hard as hell to turn this big bitch from a dead stop! LOL. Well not hard, just annoying cuz im used to doing it with a flick of the wrist, and now i gotta do work :annoyed: .

starboy2nv 07-03-2008 12:06 AM

LOL!! u need to work out!.. they have it, its the question of me going there or me meeting up with them in queens...

DaInFaMMuS1 07-03-2008 01:03 PM

well work that shit out already, damn nucca lol.

asianspec 07-03-2008 01:06 PM
