idk bout that, but i did see a lexus sc300 with a twin turbo Tundra v8 in it. That thing was crazy too.

I know there was a G35 that did it, and I thought I read it was being done to a 350Z as well. Or, it was vice versa, where it was done to the 350z, and being done to a g35. Either way, I thought it was a dope swap.

Talk about torque monster.

ZeroCL 06-21-2008 08:58 PM

A local mechanic put a corvette engine into his old ass chevy, i forget what model but it was pretty sick. Straight sleeper.

One of the sickest things i did see was a 350z with a Corvette LS2 motor in it! They're sticking that motor into anything these days lol.

It's cool to see the Tsukuba Circuit for real. I've only ever seen it when I play Forza.

it's not a normal transmission... it's one of those racing type... no clutch... just up for downshifiting... and down for upshifting... kinda like the video games!... still freakin awesome though.

732xghost 06-22-2008 09:48 AM

wow those accords. thats how a Honda should sound like.

They put an LS1 in a civic :snicker:

Lol thanks bro! I'm gonna get some pics and vids up by the end of this upcoming week to tease you guys with lol.

Kumar you're one crazy dude w/that setup lol. I was thinking about that sometime in the distant future though on another car lol. My car is started and ready, wiring issues were handled im just giving them a little time to perfect things here and there this weekend, then i'll go scoop her up.

97BlackAckCL 06-22-2008 07:37 PM

too many chris's on this forum :whyme:

SupraManAG 06-22-2008 07:40 PM

what do you think it will take to make a cl all wheel drive. crx or crv tranny? realisticaly

97BlackAckCL 06-22-2008 07:44 PM

crv or mdx

AznX TL 06-22-2008 07:50 PM

aren't most of the teg/civics using crv differentials?
i know some of the smaller cars like del sol are using crx differentials.

SupraManAG 06-22-2008 07:54 PM

i have heard talks of the crx 4wheel drive tranny. can anyone elaborate
i would think 4 wheel drive would be easier to swap considering all wheel would equal into a electrical nightmare

AznX TL 06-22-2008 07:57 PM

wasnt it like the zc civic wagon that was awd, and they use that for awd?

SupraManAG 06-22-2008 07:59 PM

im not sure. anyone heard of any crazy swaps done? curious

AznX TL 06-22-2008 08:01 PM

i would imagine i'd be similar to the 2jz swaps for the s2k since they change out almost all of it including the rear differentials(which i think they use nissan rear differentials).

SupraManAG 06-22-2008 08:04 PM

swapping a rwd for a rwd can be done
fwd for an all wheel drive is a diff issue

AznX TL 06-22-2008 08:17 PM

yeah but they're pretty much just using the shell for the 2jz swap, almost all motor components are swapped out.

732xghost 06-22-2008 08:52 PM

no such thing as a CRX AWD. some Civic Wagons "vanagons" were AWD. and some Honda Ferio's (Civic Sedans) were AWD.

starboy2nv 06-23-2008 01:10 AM

arber lets do it... the guys at byt is moving to a bigger shop so i can keep my car there longer and they can do a rear wheel drive conversion... but thats in the future...

Cocoa 06-23-2008 06:52 AM

I've heard of a swap to make a crx awd also.

732xghost 06-23-2008 11:12 AM

probaly using the AWD configuration from the vanagon.

DaInFaMMuS1 06-23-2008 11:32 AM

since my motor is originally from an AWD accord wagon, theres a good probability that if i could find that drivetrain to purchase i could somehow make it work in the car since i already have the motor in there. At least thats what i'm thinking. But I'd have to have alot of $$ for that, which i currently dont lol.

SupraManAG 06-23-2008 09:31 PM

it would be such a cool thing to run 20lbs of boost on a all wheel drive honda :)

DaInFaMMuS1 06-23-2008 09:34 PM

The cost would be huge though. But it would be cool to have the honda version of the Evo lol.

AznX TL 06-23-2008 09:36 PM

i don't think honda's awd can handle high hp launches though.

DaInFaMMuS1 06-24-2008 01:38 PM

I still cannot find a gotdamn 98-01 prelude power steering bracket assembly! wtf! all the dealerships dont have them in stock and would have to order them, my shop has been looking for one for 3 damn weeks now. Geez. Thats the only thing my damn car is missing. header is welded up to exhaust, everything is in besides that, wires are taken care of, just missing a damn bracket assembly. Anyone know where to find 1?

SupraManAG 06-24-2008 02:57 PM

the prob with the junk yard is that they will destroy something which trying to remove it. they too stupid

DaInFaMMuS1 06-24-2008 03:33 PM

Its MY car and i can cry if i want to...LOL

But nah i want the engine bay to look super clean so i dont want mismatch welded parts right there on the front of the block as a bracket. I'll find it sooner or later.
