I may be a future CL owner...
Hey everyone This is my first post as I have been surfing your website for some time to find info on the Cl. I am currently looking at a black on black '97 CL 3.0 because my current car's tranny is about to go out. I have now a '91 Acura Legend and Ive been over on the board at www.Acura-Legend.com for some time and I wanted to know before I buy this CL if there are any transmission problems with the 1st Gen. CL's Any other useful info will be much appreciated as well. I always like to contribute to every place I can and I hope to be sharing good stories with you all. good luck in your search, there is a fairly decent amount of CL's available for purchasing.
I would tell you to buy mine, but you are obviously wanting a 3.0

How much are you going to pay for the cl I have a bacl on black 97 3.0 cl The tranny seams to be ok it has 44,000 mile and I'm looking into selling it because i just can't afford insurance anymore it sucks I love this car but job market out here in new york city sucks. and insurance is way to high.

Tranny's on our cars suck.. i just went threw my 3rd one actually.. there are a few members i know Dustbuster is one of them that have tranny coolers.. dont know if that helps you might want to ask him about it. Other than the tranny's the car is great!.. ooh.. the driver side window seems to go up slow after a while.. i dunno maybe the motor?
