Just as big as the shot you put in (to an extent).

A 55 shot should get you 55 or so hp.

A 200 shot should render your motor completely worthless.

how bout a venom.....lotsa people say its a waste $$$$$.... why? and how much is the "improvement" in power?

Depends on whether you're talking about the Venom 400 or the Venom Nitrous System.

The Venom 400 isn't really worth the $$$ in my opinion. However the Venom VCN-1000 is a pretty good nitrous system.

I think he was referring to how all of the nitrous systems compare to each other.

Zex shot is way over rated with out a bottle heater, the NX kit was right on. My 75 zex put like 50 something at the wheels. I saw a 50 NX give 49 at the wheels. I also saw a 70 NOS give 64 at the wheels.

My 55 shot gave me about 32 HP at the wheels and about 34 ft lbs on the dyno. That was without the warmer and 18's.

Ive been a mechanic by trade for 10 years and drive a 97 cl 3.0 premium.
The car is mint! I was thinking about throwing a supercharger at it and running a longer belt off of the power steering/crank pulley being that i wont need full pump p/s pump pressure while on full throttle (hopefully) but space is limited. Whatever you decide please post pics.
