question for the 3.0 guys. other than the V-AFC II (which in my opinion is useless) what other forms of ECU tuning can you guys use?? since you really cant convert to OBD-1 i dont see too many options. i dont mean to say the V-AFC is useless but it really doesnt let you fine tune much. its pretty basic, but at least its afforadable. its just useless for me since im OBD1.
Cocoa and Ethenol. what are you guys using to tune your cars?? i know you can use Hondata. what about like Neptune or Crome??

We can't use hondata.
There's no point in using anything better than your typical piggy back systems because there's no way of advancing timing with our ecu's.
3800 vtec crossover was either stock, or just fine to set it at. I forget which of the 2. But mine was either set at 3800, or left alone at that. (I had my tune by one of the best shops in SoCal. I'm sure you guys have heard of Jason from Rage Motorsports. He held a few recods at the time in drag). I'm not trying to disagree with ghost, just saying I think it might be stock at 3800. But in either instance, the tune was set for drag and it had the flatest torque line all the way across with vtec set at 3800.
Your gas mileage will decrease with a shitty tune (and viceversa). Good tuning = water to form out the exhaust. This is because everything will be burnt in the combustion chamber except for the hydrogen molecules which will then latch on to the oxygen molecules coming out forming water. I will have to find my notes in order to explain the chemistry behind bad and good tunes. I remember doing another smog test on my car to verify all that crap, and my car put out less emissions after the tune then before. They were far better numbers than stock. Wish I still had put that in my folder. But with moving around so much, I've lost a lot of documentation I've tried to keep. Lost a few charts I really wish I have not.
I'm using Greddy Emanage Blue as it came with the t-kit. Stand alone will be used in the future when I get my hands on a miss-firing kit.

the v-afc wont work for a 2.2. you probaly either need to chipped OBD-2 ECU that sets your crossover lower and also sets your rev-limit higher. or you can probaly convert to OBD-1. to be honest when i had my F22 i never looked into anything like that, cuz i thought it would just be a waste of money.
