Front license plate mount breaking!!!!
I dont know if any of you guys have this problem. My front license plate mount is tearing from the front bumper. If you look at it, it's only held by some cheap plastic to the bumper. well on one side the plastic broke and now my license plate is crooked. Anybody know how to fix it or is it pretty much screwed?? if it is where can i get a new bumpers for a good price. either stock bumper or a decent price aftermarket. thanks.

you dont need a front license plate 
I've only been pulled over for it once, and there was no ticket. I just told him the mount broke and I was in the prcess of ordering a new one.

I remounted my plates below the bumper and it looks much better than stock. I used some leftover bracketing from when I installed my garage door opener. The bracketing looks like an "L" and has 1/4 inch holes every couple of inches. I lined up one of the holes to the stock bolt location and tightened it up. The holes on the other side of the L matched up to the holes on the license plate perfectly. Now the plate is tucked up under the bumper. I'd post a pic, but no digi cam.

You need a plate where I live - the cops don't have anything better to do. They're always hiding around corners or over hills with their damn radar guns. I got pulled over once because the plate on my truck was crooked (one of the screws fell out).

yeah here in nebraska the cops are always itching for an excuse to pull you over to give you a ticket for stupid stuff like no front license plate. the bracket that holds the license plate to the bumper is made out of plastic and that is what's broke. my choices are to either meld the plastic together or get a new bumper.
what i did so far was to super glue the bracket to the bumper and see if that is going to hold.

Its things like this that make me happy to be in a boring little town of rednecks and old people.
I cant stand the front plate thingys on cars glad i dont have one
the cops here are not very agressive towards anything unless your being just stupid
