front end swap?

hey this may be a stupid question but i was wonderin if anyone tried or looked at putting an accord front end on the cl, I know ill get alot of compliments sayin the front end makes the cl or that ur just ruining the car but i was just wonderin, I use to own a 1990 prelude with the pop up headlights and alot of ppl were tryin the integra front end didnt match up well but it looked pretty sick, if anyone has information about it or anythin and plz dont start makin bad comments about it just wanna maybe try somthing different and set my cl a lil more apart than everyone elses

Why make bad comments when you can make bad compliments!

whatever makes you happy man. I've never seen it before, I don't think it would look too nice. Have someone photoshop it for you...

Accord front ends look too similar IMO. If you're going to try a front end conversion, I'd pick something that looks completely different.

haha i was kidding, the only clean front end conversion i've seen would have to be the s15, don't know if anyone has pics of it but i remember seeing it on the forum a while back

If you're looking for an s15 CL, here's something you may find interesting...
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3154565
I saw this car at the HIN Chicago show... It's pretty sweet...

don't do any front end swaps please, they're all hideous. do a lip kit if you want, but thats the extent of body mods that works for the first gen CL.

by interesting did you mean a clean execution of a bad idea?

the problem with the accord conversion is that i'm pretty sure you have to use the V6 front end, which leaves you with very few front bumper and lip options again.

I kinda like the s-15 conversion...it looks 1000x better than the g35 conversion.

Accord front ends look like unless you do a custom fit body kit

Haha, I've been trying to keep away from the forums so you guys could stop getting me to buy stuff! But after I saw updated pics of Carson's ride, I'm back for good..
:gheyhug:
But I've mostly been away because of High school, dual credit courses, job, family troubles in El Paso.. Times have been rough. But now the I FINALY got a good job with good pay and flexable hours, I plan on getting back on my project. (carson's CL but green, with your wheels, lower drop, and rockblocker tints. )

edit: Ah! Just remembered about my latest mod. The aux adapter in the Bose system. I still gotta write the DIY when I get the chance.

What have you been up to?

Have you considered painting your roof black? That might look cool on any colored CL. My friend recently did that to his GTI, it looks real nice.

in theory a Accord front end with the right parts wouldnt look bad.

I.E.
1 piece JDM stanley headlights
Mugen or Aztec front grill
Accord Si-R or Mugen front lip.

but even right the right parts i dont think it would line up with the rest of the car right.
