Exterior Transformation Project nearly done (no 56k)
Ive owned this CL for almost a year. I bought it wrecked and very ugly. I went crazy on the audio during that time and now that its mostly done i concentrated on the rest of the car. So I'm almost done with the exterior makeover. i went from stock on the outside and the engine a month ago to where its at now. i removed all the mud flaps, the side skirts are painted also and im trying to figure out which rear lip i want to put on. Heres where my project is at. I hope to get some more things done soon. Thanks for the inspiration Acurazine.

looks pretty good. you seriously need to paint your grill.... it sticks out way to much, not to much of a fan of the headlights plus a WW lip would have looked better IMO .....your progressing with mods pretty quick

Dude, where'd you get the covers for the front lights? is it just tint or is it those snap on plastic covers? also, how much does it affect the lights? ie, can you still at night and everything? i've been thinking about something like that, but didn't know if i wanted to do that or just paint the housing black. it looks sick, but i'm not sure if i like the front lip, but it still looks sweet. nice job and keep up the good work...

looks hella good. can do withouth the headlight tint, but for the look your going for, i think it looks great.
inside looks good, wish it was a lot cleaner, or nicely done.
starting to like that lip more and more, but it still doesnt line up with oem skirts so thats the big no for me.

i guess im just really indecisive on how to paint the front grill and i dont want to remove chrome and then change my mind a month from now so once i settle on something ill do it.
i liked this lip over the wings west one. Im probably a minority on that but each his own i guess. once the lip is molded and painted it should look 1000x better.
the tint is a vinyl. i blackhoused the headlights but i guess it was worthless just to tint the headlights so im not sure i like it, but hey its there until i decide to wetsand the headlights to new looking again. i think the blackhouse looks better but you have to wetsand your lights and im incredibly lazy. i have 10,000k hids and they seem to only make it more blue i guess i really dont see a difference in light output. headlight tint def looks better further away. and i already did debadge those pics were a little old. and i scraped earlier leaving the driveway

I've decided it's not worth the risk for me.. but if you want to try it, please show the results.

^lol, by fixing it.
No seriously, what's the code for?
Your car blew up in like 15 minutes man. Looks good! I've never liked the ABS lip, but if that's your forte, you're lucky! Considering it's like $200 cheaper than WW. I'm a fan of the headlight tint too.

im pretty sure kleptos had honeycomb and stuff on his and he had it all cut out. they do sell a similar rear lip though minus all that work. i think its the 95-96 accord ww lip that should fit fine. but that might not look as good with the abs lip you have.

a couple questions for you blind shooter,
are those corner lights the smoked ones from ebay?
also where did you get the headlight & tail light tint from?
and can we see some more pics of your car with those rims? i'm intrigued as to how they look on a cl, sorry for all the questions, and again, sick looking car, quite the transformation indeed

to answer your questions, its not the ebay smoked corners. but those look cool too. the headlight, front corners, and tail lights were done using vinyl from a seller on ebay. his name was rvinyl.com. you will have to shape, cut, and mold the vinyl using a hair dryer/heat gun. heres another picture of the rims until i post todays picture shoot with my professional model
blackack are you saying u dont like my tinting, i think i have a couple pictures that might change your mind
this is for you mitch:
and for everyone else.
