Which exhaust and intake give most hp and does vte-c cntroller give u hp?

I have a 3.0 and for performance i only have a short ram intake (obx) and a can exhuast jus for a good sound, was wondering what exhaust would fit my car or do i have 2 custom pipe and if i do custom what would be best for 3.0 cl? btw i went to the shop and asked for cat back exhaust system for my car they couldn't find 1 so they told me to go with the HKS universal can and then to do the piping, is that worth it?

from what i hear hks sounds pretty good. dont get any bigger piping than what you have. just get cat back w/ no resonators. the VTEC controller when tuned gives you around 10 hp. its not just a plug and play. has to be tuned. but for near 300$ ill pass.

I have a VAFC controller and i paid nothing for mine

lets just say is was finders keepers as they say when we were kids

i went to a performacne shop and i drove up and missed this bag on the way in it looked like it had some weight to it so i opened it up cause you never know what youll find one time i found 3 hundred bucks in a envolope once and inside this bag was the vafc controller, i even asked the shp if someone there just recently bought one and they said no

so i took it home and installed it

their bad oooops

94-97 accord exhausts work? I asked all the shops near my home and they all said that the bending was different. Are they wrong? Who has installed a cat back on a 3.0??? I went the easy way out and had one made. 2.5 in. piping to a megan racing muffler, it sound nice!

No, 94-97 will not fit a 3.0 V6. 98-02 accord will, but the piping route is different I believe.

okay will which one of you is right? Have either of you put the 94-97 cat back on, or the the 98-02 on? Oh, and when you say that the piping route is different, doesnt that mean that it wont fit? You cant go buy a cat back exhaust then have it bent... Might as well go to a good muffler shop and have then do you up a nice exhaust for cheap!

It seems like we have also gone off topic... I would say get an AEM V2 cold air intake, then do a custom 2 1/2 in. piping to a muffler of your choice. HKS counds like a good idea, but arent they a lil' overpriced just for a can? I went w/ a megan racing can and it sounds real nice and throaty on our cars. I too have a 3.0 and I am in the same boat as you as far as getting things and finding them.

Well aint that some shit. I am really starting to hate the owners of import shops. They are no help and just spit out random info... I am definitely going with a skunk 2 exhaust if i can get one. Gotta go check now! thanks a lot bro!

While he's "definately" working on his "grammer", maybe you should work on spelling and punctuation.

I had to.
