I only did the bottom of the rear deck with expanding foam and it was enough. The door panels were easy to dynamat, I did the whole inside of the panels

Try ebay... They have a bunch of kinds that are a lot cheaper then DYNAMAT... You are really just paying for the name...

Be liberal... Put it anywhere. You can never have enough, especially in our rattlebox's...

its not double layered.....there is some over lapping at the edges but pretty much every inch is covered.

I dunno, its pretty good, but i dont ride in my truck so i dont know about road noise in the truck. I Still need to do the doors and more of the interior of the car.

let me know if you have any questions, its pretty easy to do, just make sure you mark where the holes are for the carpet!!

i'm pretty sure that's what you mean, so... fixed!

Also, how do you remove the carpet?

I see there are clips in the trunk, are they for removing/installing the carpet?

How about the driver & passenger carpet?

Can you put the carpet back in/ on top of the sound deadening material?

sorry for so many q's but i'm trying to quiet my car too. Thanks

I'm a visual person so if you have some pics of how you do it, please post it.

Trunk carpet is very easy, it's held in by 15 or so clips that just pop in and out. The carpet looks like this when it comes out.

As for the front carpet, I haven't taken mine out, but it is also held down by the seats and a few clips, you can get mat under there, but like others have said, don't cover the holes

Cool thanks, some RAAMAudio BXT's coming my way!

Winter break is almost over and i only did two things to my car... one of which is not a "mod" per se.... so little time.

FYI: There's a group buy on the materials that the owner of RAAMAudio just informed me via email. It's like 30% cheaper than regular so anyone wants in let me know.

Thanks for the Fix,

Chris answered your trunk questions. Just make sure you keep all the Clips, they are easy to lose.

As far as the interior goes, Anything is possible, it depends on your patience and skill. I'm sure you can replace the carpet on top of sound deadening. The hardest pare will be removing your seats and finding where the carpet is clipped down. ITs not impossible, but will take time, and your car would be out of commission for more than a day for sure.
