Do your head-lights, instrument light, etc. flicker when your turn-signal is on, while you're stopped at a light idling? Mine does, and I just installed a new Die Hard battery in it this past Spring. I hope the alternator isn't going bad...but it's been doing that for a while now. I'm sure if it's the alternator not charging, my battery would of been dead a long time ago. Some sort of regulator perhaps?

mine does, dont know what it is, i have a vtec controller and i can see the rpm's fluctuate with the turn signal light. when it is lit, the rpms drop.

My does it, it a poor design on the CL that affects some cars. When I brake and idle my lights flicker for a 1/2 sec sometimes. It been posted a lot of times already since joining this board.

its not cuz of acura....a lot of car doesn't that when it get to the point. I think Autozone will check out if ur alternator is putting out enought power. a lot of time having a powerful sound system can cause the alternator to be bad too....i'll run...but its just something small that's probablly mess up.

Oh a bit of warning, when i went to autozone the guy gave me the wrong code, so make the person make sure the code is from ur car. I got a tranny failure and engine fault code. I took it to another place it was gas tank cap was was clicked all the way.

Is there any corrosion on your battery terminals? If there is, clean them, it may help.

I have a friend who had the same problem. We found that his positive cable was so corroded it could have fallen off at anytime. After we replaced it all the flickering, dimming. and the idle fluctuations went away.
