I hit a crater last night on my way home from work....blew out my front tire and threw my alignment off....I dont know if i did anymore damage than that yet. I had to be towed because I couldnt see in the dark to change it, and I had a suit on. Its in the shop getting new tires and an alignment now. Pittsburgh is known for their insanely horrible road conditions, so I am calling PENNDOT (pennsylvania department of transportation) and bitching them out!

damn that sucks i had to drive up to pittsburgh yesterday to take my brother back to school... those roads are ridiculous. i was sooo thankful my car made it home in one piece... i'm sorry u weren't that lucky!!

Always Dirty

Take pictures of everything and maybe they'll foot the bill (they should). Things are pretty bad around here too. There's one 50 yard stretch of expressway here, in the left lane just outside of downtown Boston, that just tears cars apart. It's criminal, the condition of these roads.

tis true - you should take pictures of everything including the pothole itself. Atlcl had all 4 of his wheels bend or break on one block of road here in Atlanta and the city paid him to have them replaced

In 1985, I was able to get away from the horrible roads in PA (Johnstown).

So, I moved to the horrible roads in DC! :angry:
