creaking sound from front wheels..

Well, as I make slow turns or U-turns, I can hear a slow creaking sound coming from my front wheels... any idea what this could be?

It happens when you slowly accelerate while turning? Yeah, same here. There's a service bulletin about it. Although I think mine went away after I lowered my car.

i hear some sound too.. i thought it was because of my springs and stock shocks.. so i changed to TEIN SS. but i still hear sound... maybe more worse..

and i went to shop to ask.. and all they said were "because u droppd ur car"

i hear it when i go over bump or turns.. only front wheels tho.. especially front left..

It was happenin to me and had it fixed yesterday, it was my bushings. I had them all replaced for free. The shop manager found a way to put the bushings under a warranty.

C/V joints, happened to me on my accord, not too expensive to fix if u go to autozone and get a rebuilt one, then they give u most of ur money back when you take your old one back to them.

check to see if there is any wear or marks...

push down on the car to see if it makes the noise...try to pinpoint the noise with a friend

Is it popping or creaking. If it popping then its your control arms. If its creaking it could be control arm bushings, leaking or bad shock/strut, or if you have a camber kit I hear that that make noise.

well.. i was gonna buy those things from that website..

but.. what i'm wondering is that...

i have a TEIN SS setup which is coilovers w/ shocks..

then, do those things(stock bushings) still fit w/ tein ss setup??

or should i order bushings from tein?

mine was making the same sound, my mechanic said it was the bushing i think that he just flipped it over and it stopped. not exactly sure if thats what he did but it might be worth a try.

yes, i was gonna change the bushings.. but i have completely tein SS suspension setup..

so.. changing STOCK bushing is kinda different than mine.. (cuz i have aftermarket shocks..tein ss)

i wanted to know if stock bushings would also fit in tein ss setup..

I was having squeaks from the front end. I heard it was everything from bushings to CV joints to ball joints. Turns out my Koni's blew prematurely. Got me a new set, and noise went away. 3 weeks later, a new sound starts - it's the wear sensors in the front brakes. I shouldn't complain, my oem pads lasted 80,000 miles.
