cheapy sri or expensive sri
i was think about a sri for my 3.0. i had a 1.6 civic and i had gone to Autozone and got a modular intake kit for about 40 and a filter for about another 40. any difference with that and like an AEM intake?

SRI on a 3.0 is a bad idea, they hum really badly. I'd advise getting a cheap ebay CAI and putting a k&n cone filter on it

If you would have used the search in the first place you wouldn't have wasted another thread on this topic. I have a cheap sri. I put it on my car sometimes then take it off after a bit to have the stealth sound.

No biggie just cant count how many of these there r lol. Maybe a mod can combine them or something. But yea I love how my sri sounds gets a nasty deep screaming sound when v tec kicks in. I just take it off during the winter, and when I get tired of my car being loud as crap.

You got lucky it doesn't hum, you'd know it if it was, it sounds like a UFO
