Can you do a swap from climate control to regular dial-type?

If I'd change one thing about my cl it would be this. the climate control can be a pain in the ass. nothing wrong with it or anything but I'd like to have simple blue-red sliders and knobs. possible? maybe a swap from an accord.

thoughts anyone...

The work required is too complicated. I agree, you should've bought an accord.

What's so hard about using our climate control?
Unless you don't know how to read.

I just don't understand what's less complicated than pushing buttons? I mean laziness to just turn a dial, is worse than pushing buttons. You have better control over your thermostat, and can keep your interior exactly as hot or cool as you want it. I think it's a great feature, I just don't understand why you want knobs instead.

I love it too. I just set it and leave it. I rarely adjust it unless the temperature dramaticaly falls or rises. All my other cars I would CONSTANTLY adjust only to have it be too cold or too hot. I like that we can just set it and forget it.

I leave it set too, just don't understand why someone would wanna downgrade such a nice feature. Sell your cl to someone who respects it, and get an accord.

Climate control is for true G's... people sometimes seem amazed when they first step into the hot ass car and i turn on the AC and it gradually starts to kick in full force automatically...

I also hate this keyless entry stuff. Any why do I have to push a button to open the trunk? Anyone know how to install a door knob on the trunk?

i love our climate controls, noone knows how to use them, so when ever someone says it too hot or too cold i just say "well then change it" then they're like ummm..... actually it's not that bad

the ONLY thing i don't like about our climate control is the AUTO setting.

in the summer, if i push auto at say 68, the outside air vent will open, i'll be inhaling other people's exhaust.

in the winter, if i set it to auto like 70, the center vents are shut.

other than that, i love to know what temp i'm setting it at. rather or not that's the temp in the car, it's a different story

I know, I hate that too. But even though it doesn't say auto, it will still keep the right temp and adjust the fan speed acordingly just like it would normaly. The only reason the "auto" light goes off is cause YOU are controlling that one aspect of the climate control.

One thing that I don't like is that it turns on AC all the time in full auto mode even if it's hot outside.
