Bought the car back!!!
So its been about 3 weeks since I was on here and the car has been out of commission. The insurance company gave me the car back and now Im taking the next few days to replace the front right cv axel, right outer tie rod, both lower ball joints, doing a tranny flush (hoping that it fixes the slipping problem for the time being), and then I might have to replace the rack and pinion (oh joy). I'd like to know though, should I wait on replacing the R&P if its just a tiny leak and just continue to refil the power steering fluid, or should I get it fixed now. I havent had any issues with the power steering at all (knock on wood).

So got a lot done today. My axel nut would not come off because the way the axel was broken, where the boot and bearings had disconected from the part that meets in the transmission. So I went ahead and disconnected the hub assembly and will be bringing it to Firestone to have them impact the little bastard off. Lower ball joints on both the driver and passenger sides will be replaced tomorrow as well as the tranny fluid, oil, and replacing the new axel and hub assembly back into place. Front coilovers have been installed and should get everything done by Thursday...fingers crossed.

Ok so the car is pretty much done and now im working on getting the rear coilovers installed on the car. The first time adjusting the fronts I went super low and slammed the front, tucking both tire and rim, but i raised it up an 1 1/2 inches and its about an inch from the ground. Also the front bumper is installed but I still need to tweak it a bit.

well looks like my attempt to paint this week might not happen due to weather. I have decided to paint my wheels in the spring to a carolina blue or a little bit lighter blue.

Looking good, waiting to see non-PS execution. Good luck.
I'm painting an A Spec sport bumper for my Grigio '10 TSX in January... guy said he wanted to blend the paint into the L&R front panels where bumper meets, as even with factory color, can never get a perfect match... We'll see.

^its funny that you mention that...the frost white that i got doesnt match at all. Its has a blue tint to it and actually looks like arctic white. I think for the winter im gonna plasti dip the whole car in the flat white and im getting the blaze blue to do my wheels. Im also gonna be creating news colors to play around with to see what suits the car better.

the plasti dip with at least protect the finish on whats ever left on the car now until im ready to fully paint in the spring. Im thinking about going with a gun metal or carbon bronze from the 06 accords and TLs

well like i said before it most likely wont stay white. The color of the front bumper looks like a minty white (i guess a tint of the original frost white) which a lot of ppl like. Im assuming its hard to color match white ?!?!?!
I definitely want this car to be different then every other one on here color wise...possibly thinking about the teal from the civic

I like the teal, we had a member who did a similar color temporarily with primer, that color's definitely different. So are your bumpers really a different color or is that just primer?

no thats really the NH-538-5 paint code. In our vin I think the 11th letter is a J but thats not in this code. So we had to guess which one it was and unfortunately the guy who mixed it got it wrong
