Bosch Icon wipers

So since AutoZone is running a Buy One/Get One special on select wiper blades I purchased some of those fancy Bosch Icon's.

I must say, they wipe AMAZING!! I didn’t know that a wiper blade could wipe glass so clean. However, the passenger side doesn’t quite sit against the windshield at the bottom 2 inches or so.

Does anyone know what’s up with that? It’s like the glass curves more than the blade can at the end. I got a 419A, which is what’s called for on the passenger side. A guy over on Bimmerfest said to try a 420B because the "B" blades curve more. However I have found no sound evidence of the exact difference between the "A" and "B" blades.

I just wanted to see if anyone on here has used these yet and has any input.

Thanks!

wow. random. I just bought a set tongiht. at the Advance Auto I work at we are running a buy one get one (rebate). The B is for the passenger. And the A is for the Driver's side.

Because the B "curves" more

I have them on my CL and Titan. They definetely work amazing. I'd recommend them to anyone outside of SoCal. (we all know it doesn't rain down there, lol)

Does your "B" leave any spots on the windshield or does it wrap enough?

I asked about the difference when i was buying mine and they said that A has the wind deflector one way while B has it the other way. I looked at it and they were right...

Now you might be wondering what cars would use the wind deflector in the opposite direction. Well its either RHD cars or the cars that have the windshield wipers on both sides (some minivans).

sounds silly, but you might have it clicked in backwards if it isn't sitting right, try it the other way.
blades are def the ish.

From what I remember its not possible to put these in backwards. I mean Honestly, the bottom portion on my wiper does the same thing. I went through 3 blades (I know the guys at autozone) and each of them was the same...

I've had a set of icons on my CL for 3 years, and they're still brand new. Had 2 of my friends buy them, cuz I loved them on the CL. I just bought a set for my 4runner cuz they finally had both in stock at the same time, and got the rebate, cost me $41 and they'll be mailing me back $20

Since I don't drive my CL in the rain much anymore, mine on the CL are still brand new, I do plan to clean them before spring though, when I put new aquapel on, and no, you can't put them on backwards

This is a strong statement. You honestly can say that over three years, there has been no degrade in performance? I might have to pick up a pair, but thats a steep price. three years and still going? I know your car was parked for a while, so how long would you say they'd last in every day driving?

I've had great luck with the cheap 3 dollar ones from walmart, sure they dont last for every, but who cares when a new set is cheaper than two gallons of gas.

guess i have to fess up, lol -- i managed to get one on the wrong way by flipping the peice of black plastic that pivots beyond its limit; took me a a few wipes to realize i did something moronic
i don't remember how they'd attach to the cl, though (but i imagine it would be slide & lock), so you'd certainly have to try real hard like me to f-it-up, but it's possible.

Anyone try the new rain-x latitude wiper blades. They look like there really good but commercials can do that to almost any product. I need new ones before the weather gets really cold and i don't have 40 bucks to blow on a piece of crap. lemme know ight

The rain-x ones are a copy of the bosch icons, but I think they're about the same price, should be less than $40, I paid $40 for longer wipers for my truck, should be a couple bucks cheaper than that for the CL
