Not many OG's left around these parts sadly. I joined back in 03, got this account back in 05 after the A-CL merger. Nice to see you stop through.

Please ignore my avatar, it was a gift

Went on another euro trip for a month with some friends. I'm flying back in 2 days. I can't wait to get my hands on some greasy food, watch some American football, and work on the car! I ended up getting sick about 2 weeks in, needless to say the trip to the hospital, X-rays and 5 prescribed meds only ran me $26 without insurance. Woot!

All that?! For $26?!! WOW!
What happened anyway? Plus, I was gonna ask you if you know of any 1st gen CL'ers that are still around DFW... I would ask SeanMoores, but I wouldn't get a response for a year!

I ended up with some viral infection and the doctor wanted to make sure my lungs were okay since I waited a week to see a doc. Honestly the only thing I had to pay for was the meds at the pharmacy. The hospital visit and X-rays were free of charge.

I remember there was a member with a green cl in the tar rant county that was active for some time, but I can't recall seeing him post recently. Other than him, I don't really have anyone that comes to mind. It's usually the 2nd gennners I've hung out with and the tl owners.

I wouldnt come back. Screw american football. You can get oil and triple deepfly anything and yes most certainly you can ship your car there. Look at the bring side. The roads are nicer and you can drive like a gent at any speed. Oh yeah... and the beer is way better

Hell yea the beers are better, so are the brothel houses! Love it here, that's why it's my 3rd month long trip. We'll be in Brasilia for the world cup, and possibly an Argentinian trip right before, so the traveling won't stop here. Just need that American dough to make it possible. If I could live out here I would in a heartbeat. But for now, the states is my home. And I do look forward to getting in that garage to work on the cl, some home cooking, cali herbs, and good ol playoffs. I have a lot ahead of me this year. Looking to go back to school for cardiovascular technology, I'm hoping I haven't missed the deadline as classes start end of this month. That's the first thing I have to jump on as soon as I get back. With that I can work outside of the states, but it'd help if I learned a 3rd language.

I see at least one 1st Gen a day; a couple of which look pretty good... I passed a black one today that was modded a bit...

Their deadline and important dates to remember section of the site says to call. I can't do that from here with what they charge for international calls, but the site does mention courses are still available to pick from for spring semester which to me sounds like enrollment is still open. The winter classes are still going on till the 25th of jan, so thats a good sign as well. As i recall, you can register late up to about 2 weeks into the begining of a semester. I'll find out in 2 days as soon as I get back.

We will see. I might have a new car as well. Debating whether, to keep the CL or doing a full build.

I did not see your previous post, but no I was not referring to the hulk. He changed his name btw to scouter with a few numbers that follow that. How much are you looking to get out of your cl? Do you have a carbon fiber hood you'd be willing to part out?

The cf hood is faded the he'll out. It needs to be stripped then refinished. You can pick one up from VIS if you really want one.
