99 3.0 CL exhaust question.
 

My OEM muffler was replaced with a Bosal muffler (I thought my mechanic was installing an OEM, but apparently not). The noise level of the Bosal seems much higher than the OEM. Has anyone noticed this? Is the only was to get the quiet ride I previously had is to install an OEM muffler?

Also, if that's the case, any recommendations for reputable online OEM equipment suppliers?

Yeah, you'll probably want to locate a stock muffler, try ebay or a pick a part salvage yard.
