I had the belt snap on me today. The tension pulley is on the left and the alternator pulley is on the right. It seems I have a grooved pulley in between them at the bottom. I can't seem to get belt on because there is something coming from what seems the car and going into pulley. Any advice or help or pointers would be appreciated.

Well one...that tensioner pulley seems to have eaten away on the belt. see how rubber smudges are left on the tensioner? I would get that replaced first. I just did that to mine today. Part cost me $50 and took me 45 minutes to switch it out. And yes i do admit that putting the belt on with the new tensioner is alot harder than with the old tensioner
