I have a 97 cl 2.2 5 speed, Today I found a 2.3 engine with 46k on it, the car it is in is a total and it has been sitting for 9 plus years. The car is a mess and stinks the mice have taken up residence in it. It is free just tow it away.
Now the question will the 2.3 go in my 97 ? What will I need to do, ecm swap?

If this works out and will fit without trouble could I put a turbo on it from a accord?

Well I fooled with the car today the engine is tight will not turn,of course there is not a drop of oil in it. I found the oil plug out of the engine. So the idea of this swap is gone. I still will grab it for some parts then bone yard the rest.

We had another member have a lot of problems swapping the 2.3 in for the 2.2, if you're going through all that, you'd be better off swapping in an H motor

I agree. H motor instead.

You can't just put an H in it, it requires other modifications, correct?
