1st Gen CL Repair Manual 1997-1999 2.2/2.3 and 3.0 *NEW*

I have the complete Mitchell Repair CD manual for ALL FIRST GENERATION CLs. This includes 1997-1999 2.2/2.3 and 3.0.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I AM NOT THE ORIGIONAL PERSON THAT GOT THIS REPAIR MANUAL! HORNYLEPRECHAUN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MANUAL!
I AM MERELY DISTRIBUTING IT AND OFFERING HELP IF NEEDED!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Step1:
You first need to download the correct files!!!
If you have Nero: download final.NRG
If you DO NOT have Nero download final.ISO
Then download disk1.zip and disk2.zip

http://www.novaciel.com/acura%20repair/disk1.zip
http://www.novaciel.com/acura%20repair/disk2.zip
http://www.novaciel.com/acura%20repair/final.iso

Specs for the files so you know the sizes and if you got the whole file:
disk1.zip: 801kb
disk2.zip: 984kb
final.ISO: 491,568kb

STEP 2:

Burn the ISO file! If you need help, please read the help file that comes with your burning program.

For those with no CD-Recorder: Download final.iso. Download Fantom CD (www.fantomcd.net ). Fantom CD allows you to mount an ISO image on a virtual drive, making the computer think a CD is there when its really reading from the harddrive. You're on your own figuring this software out, but it is not too diffucult for the average user.

STEP 3: Unzip disk1.zip and disk2.zip one to a blank floppy disk, install like normal by running Setup.exe from disk 1.

If you need help/have problems/or anything thing else....contact me:
acura4ever or reply on this thread

I cannot replicate the problem. I test it on Win XP Prof. Did you double click on the file name "setup.exe"?

Did you see a screen where You should enter some info????

98-2.3 09-23-2004 04:13 PM

Yes.. I d/l ed disk1 disk2 and the ISO.. I burnt the ISO onto a cd using XP Writable FOlder and put disk1 and diskl2 on their own floppies. THen I ran the setup.exe and got that message

98-2.3 09-23-2004 04:17 PM

For reference I am Running Windows XP Home Edition Service pack 1, I use Sony MFD-2HD 1.44MB 3.5 Floppys and Hypermedia CD-R disks. not that the disk stuff matters...

baka_t 09-23-2004 06:28 PM

Step1:
You first need to download the correct files!!!
If you have Nero: download final.NRG
If you DO NOT have Nero download final.ISO
Then download disk1.zip and disk2.zip
#1.Downloaded Final.ISO to my hard drive
#2.Downloaded Disk1.zip to my hard drive
#3.Downloaded Disk2.zip to my hard drive

STEP 2:
Burn the ISO file
#4.Burned Final.ISO to a CD

STEP 3: Unzip disk1.zip and disk2.zip one to a blank floppy disk
#5.This step isn't too clear, but copied the disk1.zip from my hard drive to a floppy, and copied the disk2.zip to a different floppy

install like normal by running Setup.exe from disk 1
#6.Grabbed a beer because you were starting to lose me...

What do I do now??? I also have XP Home...

babyloc86 09-23-2004 07:13 PM

we all followed that direction and it didnt work for us :dunno:

u lucky arse.

baka_t 09-25-2004 03:12 AM

?????? whats going on with this??? still nothing yet?

acura4ever 09-27-2004 11:03 AM

sorry I retest it

acura4ever 09-27-2004 11:05 AM

STEP 3: Unzip disk1.zip and disk2.zip one to a blank floppy disk
#5.This step isn't too clear, but copied the disk1.zip from my hard drive to a floppy, and copied the disk2.zip to a different floppy

You should extract the content of the zip file with winzip or winrar to the floppy disk.

CL2.3-Amature 09-27-2004 09:57 PM

hmmmmmm?????????? Is there an easy way to do this????

acura4ever 09-28-2004 09:18 AM

I would like to take a sec just to thank everyone that has made this information possible. You seldom have people that are willing to help you out for "FREE" and this is just a great opportunity for those who are "BROKE" to get their hands on something that is virtually priceless!!!. Thanks HORNYLEPRECHAUN for making this possible and thanks acura4ever for this ultra fast download site you put this on. I had to take another look after I realizedthis 480mb file just downloaded in like 5 minutes :) PEOPLE LIKE YOU GUYS MAKE THESE FORUMS WHAT THEY ARE!!!!

I have several problems

1. I downloaded the file but I don;t see an ISO file or don't know where it is.

2. I unzipped the repair.zip but the file 684mb is too big to fit onto a floopy that is 1.44mb.

3. I also cannot seem to find the infamous Final.NRG and I have Nero 6.something.

Please help if you can?

Joshua Flewellen 05-26-2012 04:02 PM
