Wireless Charging & iPhone 10

I just purchased a 2018 TLX Advance that has wireless charging. The first few days the Car would charge my iPhone 10 & iPhone 10X however, after a week of driving it no longer works. I have checked the settings and wireless charging is on. Has anyone else run into issues where wireless charging has stopped working and how they fixed the issue? I have been giving mixed information on if iPhone 10/10X are supported. I can wirelessly charge my phones on other wireless charging stations. Not sure why the TLX would only work for a few days and then stop working.

I have an iPhone Xs Max and have had no issues with wireless charging in my TLX, even with charging through my clear case. Given you can only intermittently charge, and that you can charge the phone on other wireless charging stations, I suspect a problem with the wireless charging pad. That'll be an issue to take to the dealer.

I assume you are keeping nothing in that compartment that would limit the wireless charging pad.

In the meantime, you can plug it into the USB port in the wireless charging compartment to both charge and make use of Apple CarPlay, which works pretty well.

I would bring it to the dealer to see if they could see if anything is wrong with the charging pad.

Thank you for the advice. Strange thing, my wife turned the Wireless option off and back on. My boy placed his Samsung phone on the pad and it started charging his phone. He said the first time it worked but the second time it didn't. When I got home and started running errands with my wife, I tried my iPhone and sure enough, it started to work again. We'll see how long it lasts this time. if it stops again I'll take it to the dealership to be looked at.

For issues like this that are intermittent, I've hit record on my phone and just showed the service advisors multiple videos. I had this weird rattle in my TLX last year and they couldn't emulate it, but I started recording everytime I heard it and sure enough after 3 different videos on different days/weather/time/interior temp, they budged and fixed the issue.

FYI, the wireless charger is not compatible with any iPhone 12. Confirmed by Acura tech support
