I'll be interested to know whether they increase audible wind noise. I had them on my TL Type S and loved them, but they did seem to make a noisy car a bit noisier. :-)

If you guys are ordering these, it takes about 2 weeks to make before weather tech ships them out. Got email confirmation yesterday that delivery ETA is the 16th. Will update this thread again once I get them.

Nice Mike! Can't wait to get mine. As 9SpeedTran was asking earlier, do you notice increased cabin noise from the wind with these visors installed?

No increase when windows are all the way up and less when they are down in inch or two. I don't pat attention to it much, I got them for the looks and to air out the car when parked.

Ok received the Visors today and installed them just now. Have not driven car with them yet so no input there. However, my rear windows don't go up all the way anymore when using the Auto-Click.

They go up about an inch below the visors then drop back down half way. Is there a sensor that detects fingers and stops the window from closing all the way? The only way around it right now is to hold the button so the windows are force closed...

Do the rear windows have auto-click? I don't think I've every opened them.
I think all power windows have this safety feature to stop fingers from getting caught in the windows. I had these visors on my 1G TSX and never had this issue. Maybe they are a little too thick and are binding at the top of the window.

Yes, rear windows have auto click. It's weird, because I was running the windows up and down atleast 20 times and I got it to go all the way up a few times. Majority of the time, it would stop and roll back down half way.

Update - City driving, no additional noise. Hiway driving (90km+) there's a slight increase in wind noise.

Rear windows still don't auto up all the way. Might take them off and try re-seating because my fronts do. Weird.

Maybe the window up/down safety feature is more sensitive in the rear....weird. I bought window visors for my 4runner and occasionally when automatically putting up the window it would go back down half way and think something was in the way but it does that rarely...but all the time and just the back windows thats weird!

Another update - have not resolved the rear auto-up windows after re-seating them. Still doesn't go all the way up, sometimes does sometimes doesn't. Confirmed with Acura there's an Anti-Pinch mechanism that's getting blocked by the visors.

Also, power folding the side mirrors in cause the mirrors to squeeze the visors slightly. Makes a creak sound every time mirrors are folded in.

Cabin noise definitely increased to a noticeable level since installation.

These 3 negatives have resulted in me going to take them off. I'll see about getting a refund, but at the price point, I may just not bother since Canada > USA shipping is a pain in the butt...

Sorry to hear that, but thank you so much for sharing your experiences. The car is so quiet, I was really concerned about the wind noise, and I do a lot of highway driving.

The visors I had for my TSX were machined thinner for the part that slide into the window channel. I can't remember if the rears were or not. I took them off a few years ago. Maybe the rear was not machined thin enough and provide a little too much resistance when the glass hits it. Maybe you can sand them a little thinner with a sanding block, or a metal file.

Back with another update - after sitting the windows in the up position for the weekend without fiddling with it. It now seems the sensor has adjusted to the visors. Auto-up now works 20/20 times. Decided to keep them on for now

So that would indicate the wind noise was not that much of an issue?

Biggest complaint initially was the auto-up not working. Now that it is resolved, I can live with the slight increase in noise as I do about 30% hiway driving. Not sure the long term problems of the power fold side mirrors though. I'd hate for the motor to get burnt out for having to press against the visors every time I want to fold them in

Will keep them on for now, hopefully the mirror's don't give in. I only fold them in rarely when I'm in a tight spot.

Fortunately I don't have the folding mirrors problem since here in the US we are lucky enough not to have that feature. (Snark)

Thanks for the update, just to clarify:
With the rear windows: sometimes they won't come up all the way up, does it means it may have to stay overnight like that?
Or could just lower them and try again?
Thanks!

Hi Cex, to clarify, you can manually hold the button for the window to close all the way up. When first installing the visors, the anti-pinch sensor will need time to adjust to the visors. During that time, using the auto-up function will trigger the anti-pinch causing the window to roll down half way.

Do it the old fashion way and hold the up button to fully close the window. Hope that resolves your concern.

I'm having such trouble installing the front on my TLX. Never had this issue with any other car. What did you do??? It crasked when I rolled up window down in the front by mirror. Instructions say to put on outside of the weather stripping down there....but I can't???

lol @ Naruto. The wellvisors look sleek. Do a lot of people buy these for the functionality? What benefits are there, so you can put your windows down slightly in the rain? Otherwise personally I would only buy these if they made the car look better (subjective of course.).

Yep I buy them so I can roll my windows down while its raining and not get wet. Went with the wellvisors and love the look as well.
