Headlight UV Protector spray on TLX's

With the new TLX's what has anyone done or feel about putting UV sealer protector spray on the headlights every so often?

I bought a headlight restoration kit for my wife's car and had sone extra UV sealer left so I spread some over my TLX's lamps. It came out very clear unless you look real close and squint; then you see some application streaks.

Before the TLX, I bought a 2 yr old BMW that I owned for 3 yrs and was always worried about the headlights turning yellow but they never did. I never applied any UV sealer. I would just polish and wax the car, including the headlights, a couple times a year.

Meguiars has a spray on UV spray which will give you better results. Just mask off and spray.

I have protection film on my headlights which provide some UV protection as well as protection from stone, and other road debris, which may cause damage.

XPEL makes a precut kit. https://www.xpel.com/Headlamp-Kit_403

I used one on my 2003 Honda Element and it's still on and my headlights still look clear.

Curved lights are trickier and likely require a heat gun for proper fit.
