Nope. No Lemon Law in Canada. If you have a car problem, just go to the dealer and have them fix it. But make sure to apologize first for making them work on your car.

I don't need anyone to tell me that there is no "Lemon Law" in Canada, that i know and mentioned it above. Also as mentioned, it is for my own file, cumulating as much proof or case as possible before my case is heard in court.

Thanks, Michel

He's specifically asking if anyone with an Acura ever used the lemon law in the USA. Pretty sure this is the place to ask since it targets a TLX.

LOL Really, no lemon law in Canada?! Can't make this shit up! The lemon law is universal. The law states...

"When life gives you lemons, just make lemonade"

Pretty sure Canadians drink lemonade too! LOL

As a consumer advocate, I've helped many utilize the lemon law. I also drive a TLX. What specifically is your problem?

Hi,

Like Pyrodan007 said, just looking for information as this forum is targetting TLX. I am in court with Acura in canada about the vibration issue and just wanted to know if someone ever sued Acura about this issue, especially using the "lemon Law" ?

Thanks,
Mickey

If I recall correctly, there have been a couple people on the forums that have lemon lawed their TLXs. Stew4hd is one of the members, maybe send him a direct message if he's still around.

Hi Saintor,

I thought about CAMVAP, but after reviewing the rules of CAMVAP, I decided to use it as last resort. When a judgment is rendered by CAMVAP, this one is non contestable and you lose all other recourses. You can not use any other kind of process to sue them. This is why I am trying with small claims first and then if needed, I will use CAMVAP.

Thanks, Mickey
