TLX Wiper Travel

Does anyone else notice that the 2019 TLX wiper travel stops well short of the window edge on the drivers side? I measured 3 inches gap. It creates a very annoying blind spot, especially in NE weather. I noticed this on another brand new TLX. Anyone else notice this? Acura needs to fix this since I noticed other Honda models dont have this problem. Even a new RDX i just looked at. Cant stand this!

are you looking to modify the car?
i'm betting you could swap with an Accord Arm to get extra length.

I personally wash my windshield and my family's windshield almost every day. kinda easy way to keep the glass clear, everyday. then you're not spending tons of money on windshield wiper fluid.

Or adjust the travel. Considering 3 inch gap, an overtravel of 2 to 2.5 inches would have a small gap at the bottom vs the top but would be much better at least!

You wash the windshield every day? That's crazy man!

it helps that I live in Texas and is not subjected to the extreme cold..
it's fairly easy, I have a wash bucket that is filled with soap and water. kinda like the squeegees at gas stations. takes all but 2 mins.
if i'm in a rush, the drivers side is all that gets wiped down, especially if that large 3 inch gap of filth was in my way.

I remember a member doing a wiper arm mod to the 2008 TL...he took the accord arm, which sits lower in the cowl, so that it's hidden from view.
perhaps, in theory, you could find an arm from an Honda/Acura that does cover that gap
