Stay away from the RLX buddy. As much as they've improved the major issues it had in the 2014-2015 models (horrible suspension, noisey AC system, tons of quality control issues), the one thing they never fixed was the horrible Infotainment system. It runs like an Intel DX386 processor (not kidding). The Nav in our old TLs performed better than the one in the RLX. And it's not just the Nav component, it's the entire OS and all the functions of the infortainment system that just perform horribly. Slow input response, sometimes taking multiple button pushes to make it react, or 3-4 seconds for a single button push to respond, constant screen lagging and UI response, etc. It was infuriating at times. Not to mention no CarPlay integration.

As us both being heavy tech guys, it was one of the most frustrating aspects for me outside of the suspension issues, especially for a car commanding the price that it does.

I'd stick it out with the TLX. Good luck bud.

Thanks for the great update TSX69. Curious to know if any updares were shared on the ILX that you could share with us?

As much as I'm still prepared to leave the brand after the disaster that was (is) the RLX, I've come to really enjoy the smaller more nimble size of my ILX. If they can pull off a great update for the ILX by giving it the same luxury improvements that the 19' RDX got, I might see myself deciding to stick around.
