Lol. I drove a rental late model Fusion in Puerto Rico a couple months ago. I was impressed with its Aston Martin-like grill, interior, and the way it drove. I've leased a couple BMW's and driven a few other German vehicles and I wouldn't compare it to an Acura let alone a German car. Surprised mainly because I expected it to drive like older fords. I actually requested a different vehicle at first but they didn't have anything else at the time.

Fusion is a nice car but I would cross shop that with an Accord. I'd spend the extra money and get a tlx no question between the three. But that's just my opinion.

I never realized my TL had one because the pass through lock is hidden behind a leather flap.

It would be more useful in our MDX because that is the car we take up to cottage/ski country.

LOL, you had me scratching my head on this one... to be best of my recollection, EVERY Acura has had either a pass through or folding seat. In your case, the pass through allows you access to the trunk in case of total battery failure. There is a wire loop near the rear deck to manually release the trunk (to get to jumper cables which are probably in there).

I actually I'm the one using the snowboard...

Look, it's long and wide, and the skis are even longer. Fold down or pass through are the only ways to go.

Honda and Acura are just being cheap on this one.
