Steering resistance question

I just picked up my 2015 TLX from the dealer for its 5k mile oil and filter change. I have now noticed that at mid and high speeds, there is excessive resistance when I turn my steering wheel. Can anybody offer any information regarding the cause of this new resistance?

Check your IDS setting? Might be in Sport which has more resistance than Eco and Normal.

I always have my car set on econ mode which normally has the least resistance setting. I did check the normal and sport nodes and feel that their resistance levels have also increased.
