Hopefully some shots of a redesigned exterior are soon to follow.

I see a front-mounted intercooler peeking out from behind the bumper. Looks like this thing will be making some serious power..
|
Probably a ways away from them revealing it but am excited to see what this could possibly be. Don't think I'll be able to afford it though...
|
Imagine taking that thing through the Mcdonalds drive thru while testing. I so would.
|
Acura, I know it might not be out yet, but please benchmark the 2019 C43 and not the 2018 model. 2019 models have 385hp, 384 lb-ft. . . I won't hold my breath that the Type S will break 400 hp, but 350 hp just seems like they're not trying.
|
Anyone knows why they are testing the TLX mule in Europe? I don't think the TLX (especially the Type S) will ever be sold in Europe.
|
There is hope! That quad exhaust! I can’t imagine this having a POS ZF9 transmission, either. Please Acura, follow through on this! And could it be ready in 18 months when my lease is done? Thank you. |
Wish theyd release the type s with the new body.... not on a body and interior considered as dated by many

Maybe they'll do a second refresh like they did with the ILX. :hide:

I've been holding out on getting a TLX A-Spec for this TypeS, anyone think it'll happen within 2-3 years? |

I’ll believe it when I see it. I hope it’s true, though. |

You're already seeing it. That'swhatthe entire article is about right? It's a 2020 that will release in 19 just like any other car. The MDX will debut late next year as well. It will start sales next summer for sure!

I don't know what you're reading into, but it's never been confirmed for a 2020 model year. It's just been speculation. Like Bob said, I'll believe it when i see it.

As I said, I hope it’s true. I’ll be in Detroit for NAIAS. Hopefully there will be more than the (verrry nice) Thermal Orange NC1 to gawk at. |

It's good to finally see a glimpse of what I'm saving some pennies for.

The quad exhaust is a big S-Type clue if they follow tradition from the 3G. Be nice to see them back in the game. Will help control pricing across the segment.

That's just a mule. Existing exterior shell on top of what we all know appears to be a new drivetrain/engine. I'm pretty sure the 2020 body will differ than those pics. If not, that's like the final nail in the coffin.

I am not sure the exterior will be radically different. Although I would love to see the car grow in size back to 4G dimensions and with today's tech they can surely make the interior larger. I like what Audi and I believe Volvo have done allowing the driver seat to slide much further into the back legroom understanding that many of us rarely have anyone in the rear seat and need more legroom.
