Question for Owners with Espresso Interiors - How is it wearing?

Thinking about getting a 2017 TLX with Espresso interior and I keep thinking it looks great now, but how will it wear. So question for the folks that have 2015 or 2016 TLX with Espresso, how good does the Espresso look today compared to when you first took delivery? Also, include how long you've had it.

In general, if you were to go back, would you get Espresso again?

I have a 2015 w espresso. Wearing fine, but for some peeling of the bonded leather in driver seat. I made note of it at my last service and the dealer said they would monitor it and to wait to get it fixed. Other than that it is fine. I condition the leather 2-3 times a year. Would absolutely get it again; I get several compliments on the color interior.

Same here. It's gotten some creases after over 2 years and lots of wear, but it is aging well. Had it treated with Cilajet product at the dealership and that seems to have helped. Much better than the taupe color I had on my TL Type S.

Espresso color should hold up just fine. It's the light color interiors I'd be concerned about, more than the dark interiors.

I've had mine for about 15mo now and it holds up great. I do spend more than the average person cleaning and probably protecting the interior of my car though. Minus some loose leather on the driver's seat from driving, the rest of the seats look brand new.

And I think I have almost 25k miles on my car, so yes I drive alot and it's held up great

What do you mean by loose leather? Is your car still under warranty? I'd have the dealer take care of it. A friend of mine had his driver's seat on his 4G recently replaced because the leather was weirdly bunching up in one area of the seat. They didn't even try to repair it, but just replaced the leather under warranty.

Poor choice of words.

Where my bottom hits the seat, that's where the leather seems more wrinkled. Yes this happens in just about any car with leather, but I feel like it's happened a bit quicker than most. For comparison, and probably an unfair one, we got a 2013 GS350 in the family and the driver seat on that has some slight wrinkles, but nothing compared to my 2015 TLX with almost the same mileage.

Espresso Interior

2015 TLX/SH-AWD/TECH/14,000 miles
Still perfect! I finagled the White/Espresso combo from my Sales Manager, who ordered it for herself in advance
Good choice

My Espresso leather is wearing well. I use a good cleaner/conditioner every month or so, more so on the driver's seat and front passenger seat. As with all softer leathers, there are some minimal wrinkles, but nothing that looks unusual or worn. My coated leather on my 2014 Altima SL has fewer wrinkles in the seat, but doesn't look nearly as nice overall.

Honestly, I've done nothing with my interior (conditioner-wise), and it's wearing exceptionally well. My '04 TL had the "Parchment" interior, and it looked terrible by this point (1.5 years on). IMHO, the Espresso interior is, by far, the best looking in the TLX line-up. I've gotten far more compliments on the Espresso color than any other aspect of my TLX. (Point of interest: The 2nd most compliments are toward the BCP exterior color -- only because people will sometimes go months before realizing it's not black. Then, one sunny day, they're like, "Holy Crap!")
