2015 TLX TPMS Compatible with 2018 TLX?

Has anyone tried using a set of wheels from 2015 Acura TLX to a 2018 Acura TLX. I am thinking of buying a used set for the winter season.

nope, they are not compatible.
different part number as well & TPMS module won't recognize them when you put the wheels on the car.

Thank you for the response. Have you tried it yourself? I am aware they are different part numbers but the dealer told me it may work.

The 2018 operates at a different frequency so it will not work on the 2015.

The TPMS light will stay on and it will be impossible to disable traction control in case you need to.

I'll just confirm the 2015 sensors will not work with 2018. I bought a set of snow tires/rims that had those sensors and there's now way to get them to paired with the vehicle. The TPMS warning will pop-up every time you start the car. I can't confirm what TSXV6Guy says about the traction control b/c I didn't test disabling when I had them on the vehicle. I plan on replacing the 2015 sensors w/ 2018 sensors eventually, probably when I need a new set of snow tires installed.

I think the change of sensors was made in 2018. I have 2015 sensors on the snows for my 2017 and they work fine.
