No P-AWS badge?
In typical (inconsistent) Acura fashion, they put the P-AWS logo on the fwd RLX but not the fwd TLX. Any guesses as to why?
- to keep the TLX rear clean looking
- to spice up the boring RLX rear
- because the RLX was first to showcase the new tech
Any fwd TLX owners planning to retrofit one? Before we know it, the ricer community will be putting it on Civics, CR-Z's, Fits, etc

I just read an article from a badge manufacturer on the internet that stated "Due to worldwide demand, we are currently behind on the letter 'P'. We hope to catch up with the demand soon. Acura is the first on our list to receive the letter 'P' so that Acura may fulfill their orders for the 'P-AWS' badges.
According to an internal email being passed around the letter 'P' department, supposedly originating from someone at Acura states that: "Customers not wanting this badge must contact Acura to inform them of your wish to decline the badge and sign a waiver. The waiver states that the customer wishes to confuse other drivers and must do so at his or her own risk'.

I put a "TYPE S" badge on my TLX, simply because I want a TYPE S but they don't make it yet, people gave me shit for doing that (on here, the forum) so, maybe I'll take it off, but I want a P-AWS badge instead, anybody have the link for it? Preferably in red color, my car needs a little red on it... (But I don't want to hit any deer, etc.)

You can order the P-AWS badge online or from your local dealer for between $50-$75. I would've liked to see the P-AWS badge on the rear since they did away with putting "ACURA" on the back.

You rice out your TLX but then criticize the Audi A4 because you think it looks like a 1950's toaster or bar of soap?

You won't see 8" muffler tips on my car. And why does the A4 come with a hamburger grill on the front? Surely the engine doesn't get hot enough to char meat?

As a 2.4 owner, I think Acura should consider a P-AWS badge. It does provide something that other front wheel sedans don't have and therefore should be marketed. On a cheekier note, perhaps Acura should add some clever acronym that would denote "This Car starts in the Effing Cold". It's been in the high negative 20 to low 30s s Celsius here for the past week and a half and my car starts like a charm. Buddie's recently new and very nice A7 that he garages and that just had it's first service, didn't start yesterday. Audi arranged to have it towed from his garage.
