MID color issue

Hi everyone. My mid might have an issue. in carplay when i am changing songs the mid is half black and half white however all the other time its bblack when scrolling though the settings it that normal? just noticed it today.

Does the MID illuminate depending on which direction you're changing songs ("previous" to the left and "next" to the right)?

I have confirmed and it does not. The right side is always light and the left side is black regardless going back or forth. However the arrows underneath change depending on forward or back.

Also when amusing the volume it does the same thing right side is lit up and left side not

It’s normal. I found another tlx that has it. Funny that I know someone I work with that also has the car. Just a 2015 instead of 18.

Yeah, it's normal. I checked on my '18 Aspec. Same behavior.
