Key Fob Trick

Don’t know how many people know about this cool feature of Acura. I used to use it on my 08 TL to air out the hot air as I walked to my car so it would be fresh by the time I sat inside.Double click the open button and hold. The longer you hold it will open all four windows and sunroof. If you let go partway it will stop partway

Thanks for the reminder. I did forget about this feature and can see myself doing the same.

A very important feature that I love and use all the time since my car is black and has tinted windows. It can get stifling inside when in the sun. Not exactly a 'feature of acura' though. My 2007 Honda ridgeline does the same.

if you want to close all of them you lock your car, take the key out and turn it to the left twice, holding the second key turn and all windows and sunroof will close.

This is handy, especially when I forget to close the sunroof and don't see that until I am out of the car. I wish the "closing" worked the same way as the "opening" with just a FOB button but my guess this is because of safety concerns.

Yeah is very handy. I just wish holding the lock button would close all the windows.

I use this all the time, I just wish the unlock button had the same range as the lock button on my remote start fob. I have to get so close to the car by the time it will register the unlock button that it makes it less useful. Key? I think the key slots on my car as still virgins if you know what I mean.

What I'd really like to see is a self closing sunroof. I want to be able to keep the sunroof in the 'up' position during the day to vent heat, and if it rains I want the car to close the roof automatically. Shouldn't be that hard to implement.

I think there would be an issue with safety or theft. I can see insurance companies not liking this feature, even though some people crack their windows during the day. I never really under this, as the car is never that much cooler unless you have the windows about halfway down. Sunroof I could see venting a lot more hot air as it all rises out the top.
