Hit Left side mirror on a pillar in a parking lot
When I was backing up on my parking stall, there is a pillar on my left side, and I was negligent when backing up didnt notice the pillar so close to the mirror. So I damaged it only on the black plastic housing (left of the mirror) and a crack like at the bottom of the mirror. No damage to the mirror itself. The turn signal lights work, I can adjust the mirror from the door controls.
The only issue is I cant fold the mirror it stops about 30% of its way. Any idea what could be wrong? Something tells me its to with the actuator. But what part of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
This is the Canadian version TLX btw

Can you manually fold in fully in?
If it's really broken, then there probably isn't a whole lot of harm in pushing it closed and then open with your hand and brute strength to see if something "clicks" back into place.
Then check if it'll fold when actuated.

if completely broken, you might need a new mirror, Housing and motor.
I wouldnt buy from the dealership tho, I would see if the online dealerships like.... www.acuraoemparts.com has it.
