^market value + details on loan...
so, if some one was upside down on loan...NO they didnt get good money for the car, plus cars are depreciating assets.

I think the OP is asking about resale values (with all the problems with the car). I'd like to know too.

^market value for a '15 TLX with 30,000 miles should be around $19-20k in Houston's area code

I listed my white 2015 TLX Tech with only 6,920 km on the clock for C$32,900. It still had the new car smell. I included the all-weather mats and trunk tray, and wheel locks. Please bear in mind that TLX Tech package in Canada already includes remote start, heated seats front and back, touch-sensitive door locks front and back, unlike the US version.

Sold for C$30,800 to a friend.

No, it depreciated faster than I thought it would.

'15 TLX Advance SHAWD, paid 38K OTD new
Owned for 1 year and put on 24K miles

Traded in last year in immaculate condition for a different car and got 29k for it which was in line with the black book value at the time.

But was that depreciation worse than any other car in that space?

It's my understanding that luxury (or semi-luxury) cars depreciate faster than regular cars for the first few years.

Very true. It's interesting that for 2016, Edmonds listed Acura as the luxury brand with the best retained value (%47.6 after 5 years) and Toyota as the best non luxury brand (%53.8 after 5 years).

I priced the 2015 tlx 4 cyl with 41,600 miles and it's price is kind of low

I plan on keeping car until holidays and then either sell it or just pay off last few months of lease.

Prob will I'll also be little over mileage.

I am looking at compact crossovers and sedans with a hatch.

Not sure what I want yet.

Still have a few months to decide.

LOL EVER since you joined in 2015, you've been looking for an RDX...
you SHOULDNT be disappointed BECAUSE since 2015, Acura has been NO GOOD. like, the writing on the wall has been there before 2015...so, you cant really be disappointed. you knew since 2015 the RDX wasnt going to improve.

the good thing is; you probably have a HEFTY downpayment for those German cars you're looking at!!

I'm surprised the Panamera isn't on the list.

Sold my 2015 TLX V6, SH-AWD, Advance yesterday to the dealer for $26,000. They have it on the market today for $29,800.

Had a private sale interest, but he was concerned about the transmission reputation, even though mine was replaced.

How many miles were on your TLX? What did you replace it with?

Wow! That seems like a really low price for a '16 TLX V6 Tech with only 5k.

it was...however it was the highest price I found from a business(businesses dont need to pay taxes to buy it off my bank). If I wanted to sell it privately, it would have had to sell for about $2500 more due to the taxes
