Aging Well

It is strange but my 16 TLX is looking better to me than it did when I first bought it. BTW I test drove a BMW 3 series and X4 with M sport Trim recently and walked away appreciating my car more. On top of this I am seeing more TLX's on the road and they look awesome compared to the herd of what is out there. I am a fan of the lighting in the rear, looks special at night.

Good Job Acura. I will stick in the brand. You have passed the test of time. Just give me some more HP and better interior materials in the next gen and I will be a happy man. I am looking at the new RLX too, I have a feeling it is going to look super striking in person.

I really like our 2018 A-Spec Elite. It’s such a great daily driver. I just wish it had a couple of USB ports for the rear passengers. It’s quite rare too, except for...

It's been 2yrs and I'm still loving my 15' TLX. Notice a few rattles here and there (taking into dealer to address next week), but otherwise it's been a great car and looking forward to many more years to come with it.

I think the new styling for the 18s has a lot of good things, including the front grill, and the interior refinements. However, like Aurelius, I also have a growing love affair with my white 16 TLX 2.4 with espresso leather. The exterior look is very refined and classy and will stand the test of time, even with the so called, but, not at all, beak The 8 DCT is so darn quick and the PAWs give it some additional handling capabilities in turns.

As my train approaches my stop on the way home from work each day, I always spot my car in the lot and it continues to put a smile on my face. Honestly, it’s a clean design that should age well, beak notwithstanding.

It’s not the fastest in its class nor (subjectively) is it the best looking and maybe it is just a glorified Accord V6 but it does the job so well that I may buy out the lease in 14 months. Couple that with 22k of TROUBLE FREE ownership and what’s not to like?

Same here with my 15 TLX 2.4. Going on 3 years and exactly two visits to the dealer (one coming up). Enjoy it every time I drive it

Acura designs seem to be appreciated more a couple years after their debuts

I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I agree. I’ve been looking at bmw sedans to replace my ilx but just couldn’t. I had all the tech I needed. The bmw 3 series was so much more money for less tech in some ways.

We definitely love our '15 TLX SHAWD Tech. After the transmission replacement, the only complaints I have is that opening the sunroof at any speed does muss the hair, and the shelving in the glove compartment doesn't seem to stay in place. ;-)

My wife gets the credit for the photo, since she has somehow turned the A-Spec into HER car, and captured that moment as she came out from the shopping mall and found an identical twin parked next to her car. I saw a blue A-Spec in the wild for the first time yesterday. Man, that looks so good.

She did a great job

I have seen all colours by now. I have seen at least 4-5 blacks. I think its the most common one.
A-Spec has a good punch! One day I will get one

Thanks for the thread!

Sadly, there isn't a lot of positivity from the users here so this was very refreshing to read

My lease should be up by the time the new 6th gen TLX is released

I actually would have happily kept one of my 2015 TLXs as a daily if black ones and white ones weren't so ridiculously popular. It was nice to see that Acura offered some new colours on the face-lift model. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with for the next-gen TLX, and I don't mean just colours!
